Boomers and Elders) and younger people who want to better prepare for the future they are inheriting.

Each conference will also feature outstanding live music, inspiring and informative videos, book signings and more all designed to assist us to lead more creative, abundant, engaged, resilient and meaningful lives.

As a result of their 40-year personal relationship, as well working with people in many cultures around the world, Gay and Katie Hendricks have found that the years from mid-life and beyond hold the greatest possibility for intimacy and creative expansion. With the right tools, it is possible to create continuous renewal in our relationships, rather than the ruts of routine many people feel stuck in.

In this program these two best-selling authors and internationally loved relationship experts will focus on creativity. In their words, “Every breath you take after fifty years of age is a choice between creativity and stagnation. Sometimes when people see words such as creativity, they immediately think of tools such as journaling or hobbies such as gardening. However, the kind of creativity that renews relationships is much more varied: it’s anything that has the power to surprise you. ”You don’t have to be a writer, a gardener or a musician to get your creative juices flowing; daily life is full of opportunities to grow creatively.”

Gay and Katie are the co-founders of The Hendricks Institute is an International Learning Center that teaches core skills for conscious living. Over the past two decades they have worked with over twenty thousand individuals, eighty companies and three thousand couples in developing their method of transformation. Together, Kathlyn and Gay Hendricks have authored Conscious Living, The Conscious Heart and other books about relationships and conscious living. They've appeared on over 500 TV and radio programs, including Oprah, CNN, 48 Hours, Sally Jessy and others.

Thomas Moore is the author of the number one New York Times bestseller Care of the Soul. He has written twenty-four other books about bringing soul to personal life and culture, deepening spirituality, humanizing medicine, finding meaningful work, imagining sexuality with soul and doing religion in a fresh way. In his youth he was a Catholic monk and studied music composition. He has a Ph.D. in Religious Studies, was a university professor for a number of years and is also a psychotherapist influenced mainly by C. G. Jung and James Hillman. In this engaging and informative program Thomas reminds us that our sense of self rises up from the deep soul, the source of vitality, connection, and meaning. To age, he says, is to evolve into who we are essentially. We ripen and mature by accepting life’s invitations and going through a series of transformations. Most of the time we accept the calls to adventure, and later work out any blockages and gaps. We may have to deal with loneliness, anger and sadness at getting older, but our bigger vision will ensure our happiness. We can re-imagine issues like retirement, spirituality, sexuality, the need for community and the role of illness in life so that our older years are full of optimism and joy.

Thomas’ work brings together spirituality, mythology, depth psychology and the arts, emphasizing the importance of images and imagination.

We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
